Early Access ReviewThis game was recently deceased, but has been revived to some extent suddenly.
So it may die again? Regardless of that, here is my thought - the gameplay and mechanics are overall fine, but the Red faction is just absurdly overpowered compared to the other factions, their cards have better value and synergies, hero power has better value, stat pumping is strong, and if your health dips too low they just hit you with the charge super minions they have no matter where you are (deep strike/flight/charge/high movement) which have been buffed by their strong ranged units the whole game. Ranged is too strong in general (possibly partially due to the maps), and leads to a lot of lengthy dull repetition.
Because of the power level of Red, it is nearly all you will play against, which of course makes for boring repetition. You may say 'oh whatever scrub you don't know how to play' and maybe I don't, but it is obvious from what the people with thousands of games are doing that Red is the supreme faction. One dominating faction is never good for any game.
Variety will lack, interest will follow. If they don't kill it again, there could be a nice future for the game. So I wouldn't write it off yet?
