Simcity Societies Mods Downloads
For SimCity Societies on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Where Do I place downloaded Mods?'
I've played SCS for about ten days, but i'm back to TS2. The crashes are too much to bare. My city was at 21.500 sims when i had to abandon it. I just couldn't save anymore. When the number of sims was lower than 10.000 i could use the save button. Above that number only the auto save worked. But when i reached 20.000 sims, it's one big mess.
I can't save because it crashes. I can't build because it crashes, i can't scroll around because it crashes. It looks like a really nice game, but i haven't played enough to actually enjoy it.
Think about how arcade-like and fun that game was. Advent rising mods. I was one of the few that played the crap out of this game. One thing of note is it had a unique targeting system in which you flicked the right analog to automatically target new enemies. It wasn't perfect, but it DID feel really natural to use, and actually led to a lot of really cinematic moments within the gameplay.More than anything I would love a remaster or sequel to this game.but also I recognize that this may not be possible in the current gaming market.
It constantly crashes!! I Really wished I asked my aunt to put this back on the shelf for my X-Mas present.
The game tragically sucks. I you can't zoom out to see the city grow, but I do like the freeplay mode. But Still no diagonal streets? That's disapointing and unrealistic. Crud crud crud, is all I have to say. It looked promising and EAxis let me down.
I hope that the Sims 3 will NOT be like this in anyway. I hope that it takes a Sims 2 approach, but more advanced (not gameplay, but graphically.)Why are you comparing it to The Sims? They arn't even made by the same company any more. Haha, am I the only one who actually likes this game so far?:PJust got it for Christmas, and it's actually pretty fun! Haven't had any crashes or anything, as of yet.which actually suprised me, seeing as my computer's far from high-preformance compared to a lot of what's out there. You aren't alone. I've been enjoying this game very much.
I've played it for about 20 hours now and I still feel like I'm just in the learning curve. The graphics, even turned down, are absolutely gorgeous and I love the little extras, like drunks barfing behind the dive bar and firemen falling off the back of the firetruck. My performance is pretty choppy, but my computer is a crappy 4 year old Dell and I have the lowest video card that will actually function with the game. I knew that going in, so I wasn't surprised or disappointed with the performance. Paraworld 2019. I haven't experienced any of the crashing problems. Hopefully, a new computer will be in our tax return budget.:notadd:I do wish there was a way to filter out public service buildings. It's a real pain to have to search through hundreds of buildings to find a police station or health clinic, and then they don't match the building set you are using.
The game definitely needs some mods and has that not quite finished feel to it. Kinda like all the Sims expansions, although I was expecting better from TM than I would from EAxis. Oh well, this isn't their kind of game anyway. Maybe they will go back and do an upgrade to Children of the Nile, which would make me gloriously happy as it's my favourite CB ever.I would actually buy stuff packs of new buildings for this game.
If they were priced fairly. I'm just a sucker for all things Sims.
Maybe - but I doubt it's as good as SC4.That's a matter or personal choice. I loved SC3000 but didn't really care for SC4 at all.
Great tool, but not much fun as a game, IMO. It could be that in-between playing the two games, I began playing CBs like Zeus and Pharaoh and really found my CB niche. I'm not really sure what it was, but I found SC4 lacking, I played it for a few weeks, found it tedious and put it on the shelf. It's very possible that my opinion could have changed if I'd ever bothered with the EP or mods, but I just wasn't interested enough to bother.I wouldn't say that SCS is a better game than SC4, but I certainly find it much more enjoyable and that's all that matters to me. I haven't read this whole thread (just the last page), but I enjoy SimCity Societies as well. I am, however, incredibly bummed out that you can't zoom out far, and I started getting to the point of where the game was constantly crashing within a minute - the patches haven't worked and getting help for it from EA (like many of you will know) is a real drag.
So for me, until they find a fix for the crash, it's a thumbs downI like to add too, that I still like playing SC4 still as well even though they seem to be totally different games.
