But even though Blossom Blast Saga is something that is already seen, developers added a little change. Now, when you match specific flowers, they don’t just disappear. When you start the game, the board is full of buds with the different size. We got the small, medium and the ones which are close to blooming.

When you match the small buds, they won’t be gone, instead, what you get is a medium sized bud. But, if you match the large ones, they will turn into a large number of flower petals and that’s when you get the points.

Also, there is another thing that you should keep in mind and that is blossom opening. Every time your blossom opens, the ones around him will become bigger. That’s how you cam start a domino effect, for example, if your blossom is about to bloom and there are some buds around him that are already large, they will bloom too.

This mechanic is extremely helpful, especially if your board if filled with large buds. Triggering only one can clear almost a whole board. That’s why you should pay special attention and use this to your advantage.

This mechanic is what makes this game so tricky, you have to think like you’re playing chess. You have to predict which bud will grow next and trigger the buds next to it and that’s more challenging than you think. This is the special thing about this game, the planning. In most of the match-3 games, you can plan your moves ahead with ease, but with this mechanic, Blossom Blast Saga makes it really hard.
